This photograph was taken for the exhibition Jizerska 50 Seen by Six (2021), in which important personalities of Czech photography captured the 53rd edition of this iconic race.

Jan Šibík, CZ

One of the most famous Czech photographers is literally a living legend of reportage and war photography. He has made over 250 reportage trips to all corners of the world and has also photographed hundreds of reports in the Czech Republic. He has received countless photography awards for his work, including the World Press Photo in 2004. For twenty years he worked as head of the photo department and picture editor at Reflex magazine. In recent years he has been freelancing.
