A leading figurative painter and object creator, Lubomír Typlt is a graduate of the Academy of Arts, Architecture, and Design in Prague (specializing in illustration and book design under Professor Jiří Šalamoun), the Faculty of Fine Arts in Brno (painting studio under Professor Jiří Načeradský), and the Kunstakademie in Düsseldorf (painting studio under Professors Marcus Lüpertz, Gerhard Merz, and A.
