About the artwork

This painting follows a series of works the artist created for the 50th anniversary of the Jizerská 50. It depicts a racer returning to the finish line through a nighttime landscape, long after the race has ended. In a half-awake state, he passes through the finish gate, which, due to exhaustion and the silence of solitary contemplation, has transformed into a rainbow.

Graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in the studio of Michael Rittstein, whose main means of expression is figurative painting. Her canvases most often feature animals or people from urban, rural or sporting environments. Her work combines a sense of colour composition and work with light, through which she imbues her figures with a kind of magical aura. She is represented in private collections in the Czech Republic and worldwide. She lives in Klatovy and cooperates with galleries in neighbouring Germany.
